Telnet Pro emulator, LINUX and filePro

Hello everyone,

I didn't get much feedback on the SCO to Windows conversion question, so we
decided to switch to Redhat Enterprise LINUX ES v4 instead. We are trying
to setup the server and have a couple few issues.

On the SCO box, we were using SCO's termvision emulator and ICElp for
printing. On the LINUX box we are trying to use ICETCP's Telnet Pro and are
having the following problems.

1. In filePro the delete key does not perform the same. It used to back you
up one screen, now it does nothing. I figured we need a character map to
tell ICETCP what to send when the delete key is pressed, but I don't know
what that should be. Any ideas?

2. We have the terminal type set to ANSI (25 lines) the same as our SCO
emulator was and filePro like this. However, when I do an ls the text color
changes. Any idea how to fix this? filePro's graphics don't work with the
Linux terminal settings in ICETCP and I tried setting $TERM = ANSI and
XTERM.

Or any other recommendations for an emulator to use?
I tried putty, it didn't have the LS issues, but it didn't handle the line
graphics properly in filePro.

Thank you,
Dan Snyder
