Printing to Windows spooler from Unix

You do not tell windows but you should properly define the
port on your print server. Actually, you can tell windows
if you edit the port definition within your printer properties
dialog box.
If this printer is set on a local IP via print server, you should
be able to print to it directly from UNIX and bypass windows. Have
you tried this? If so, what were the results?
If you can send me a copy of your document, I will print it to my
HP 4000 and see how it looks. I normally have no problem with this
printer. One time I ran into problems from UNIX to TCP/IP based
HP printer (HP 8000) and it turned out that the printer interface
script in my UNIX box was the problem. Jim Asman helped me out with
this ... I think my script was eating HPGL/PCL codes in my case.
How is your windows printer defined on your unix box? What command
are your using? Have you tried including -o raw on command line?
Have you tried using netcat (aka: nc or ncat)?
