Top-posted -- for her pleasure!

One could only clearly tell who said what if one had read pretty much
every post in the thread that was part of the composite. Of course,
Brian's implication seemed to be that one must read the whole thread
or not participate at all. About the only thing I can say to that is,
"Bollocks!" People have important things to contribute, and they're not
always involved in the thread (they may not even have -time- to be involved
in a thread that's spanned four or five days and 30+ posts) the whole way
through. They may see something about which they want to try to contribute
information, and it may very well fall in later than sooner.

Someone needs to learn how to quote--or how to make their MUA
quote--properly, or not bother posting. And that someone's initials would
be BKW. I hate dropping names. :) (Ooh...I just dropped the smiley -with-
the insult! I think I get bonus points, since he expressly said a week ago
or so that doing that -really- offends his sensibilities.) Oh, and the
same person -really- needs to climb off JE's back. This is actually about
the fourth time in two months (or less) that BKW has managed to start (or
re-start) this kind of mess.

And personally, I don't blame John at all for being reactive. I'm a
reactive person myself. It's quite simple, Brian: Don't give someone
things to be reactive to, and they won't have reason to react.

At least the chat room is still saying sane, peaceful, quiet, and
productive. It's a pity that the list can't stay that way as well.
