NFS Share

On an old INTERACTIVE UNIX, Sun Solaris whatever...
When attempting to make a mount point to an NFS share on a Windows machine,
I get:
# mount -f nfs 192.168.46.2:/Unix /windows
Mount: invalid fs type <nfs>
#
This is so I can make a quick and easy fPTransfer. Given the above error,
am I to assume that this distro doesn't support NFS? Or can it be
'activated' somewhere's?
Thanks.
