That's not always a Good Thing, however.  Yes, doing what you're told is a
good thing in general, and so is having discipline.  But never questioning
anything at all simply proves you're a mindless automaton that will do
anything for a buck, IMHO.  For me, it holds the exact opposite intrinsic
worth as it would for most corporate types.  You want people that will buck
the system (at least a -little-) and strive to get something better than
what's currently in place.  Those are the kind of people I'd surround
myself with if I wanted a dynamic and progressive multi-employee company.
There has to be spark, not just stick-to-it-iveness.

Indeed, since it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.  It's a vicious circle that
lends itself to self-perpetuation, as the people that won't deal with the
"stupid" won't hire them, thus they remain poor, and thus remain "stupid".
Tragically ironic, since it's entirely fallacious.
