And so you would consider Jay's calling me a "self important ass" offensive?
And doubly so, because he did it without "really" doing it, and adding the
bullshit smiley, eh?  Nice double standard you'd have going there if you
didn't.

As for implying anything bad about *you*, by what I said to Tom in jest over
getting Howie to send up some stuff... because I respect Howie and love his
code... (He taught me a great deal about Profile when I knew very little.)
is just ridiculous... That could not have been further from my mind.  But it
did sound strange that he was going to have *you* put up Howie's code, and
so I was making my comment based on that. It was a joke, pure and simple...
and it had nothing whatever to do with you, period. Regardless of all the
vomit Jay brought up about it... or what you first thought of it... or what
anyone thinks of it. I know what I meant when I wrote it. It was only a
joke. When I plainly and reasonably rebuked Jay for turning it into
something else he retorted in typical fashion with his usual fare of name
calling and bullshit.

Once again, Jay has deftly managed to take a good thread and turn it into
pure bullshit... that is the only word for it. Even though we were all
trying to generate some good filePro threads and  doing it purposefully and
carefully... Jay decided, probably just because of this... to turn it all
into his usual brand of crap.

So be it. I know where things stand... Howie knows where things stand... 99%
of the list knows where it all is....
