printer file "name" - problem

Ken,
If I don't go into Define Output Formats and then Options and delete the
name of the printer in "printer name" the ascii file is not created.
If I leave the "Number of lines per page" at 64 then each record is
recorded, but it is a full page at a time (64 lines). If I change the
"Number of lines per page" to one line then each record appears as it should
with a full screen of records.
I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what!
Dennis
