Next FP Room scheduled meeting

While the most valuable "meetings" in the FP Room have been those that
happen ad-hoc some morning during our 8:30am to 10am coffee drinkers
anonymous talks, or any Tuesday afternoon at 4:30pm when 5 folks just happen
to drop in simultaneously... or most certainly the 11pm 'til wee hours jags
on widely varying topics (that actually even involve filePro! sometimes
:-)... Yes, it is the everyday all-the-time kind of filePro-based
atmosphere that happens there all the time which make the Room so great...
while it is this daily communication that we all enjoy... the "scheduled"
meetings are starting to become pretty valuable, too! Last week's on
associated feels was very entertaining and quite good (according to the
comments of most who were there, and my own opinion...) I put up 4 short
movies about associated fields. Ken put up a bunch of other material, and
we covered the topic fairly well from soup to nuts. The meeting at 9pm (EST)
as always... this time it went until about 12:15am... so, you might get some
idea whether folks were enjoying it or not by that. :-)

In any case, the next meeting involving Ken and Laura Brody will be on March
15th... and I will be happy to make a few more movies for it... but what
should the "it" be? We decided at the close of the last event to leave it
up to discussion and suggestions. Here is a note to the readers of the list
to make suggestions. We'll lock it down by, say, Friday... which will give a
little time for preparation... although, I'm not promising anything...
either for Ken and Laura or myself... but maybe, if time permits, we will
put some stuff together again. Leaving this kind of thing loose rather than
locked down is better for "volunteer" work such as this. :-)

Throw up some ideas, either here, or drop by the room... We've covered I/O
functions, and Associated fields. What's next?

By the way, you can see the 4 presentations I gave on Associated Fields
(from the extreme basics) to using them with overlaid arrays, by viewing the
following URL's in order. These are Windows Media files. They will
automatically open in Windows Media should your system have the .wmv
extension associated correctly with that player. Once the movie opens, you
can watch and listen best by pressing Alt-Enter to go to "full screen" mode.
If you don't do this, you will not see the text clearly, nor will you see
all of the filePro screens I go through. These are not "professionally" done
clips... just things I threw together quickly for last weeks meeting. they
may be helpful to you, they may teach you nothing... start with number 1 for
basics and move on to number 4. Have fun
