For filePro and overall strength which is best, SUSE or RedHat?

For that region, you might want to take a look at Connectiva, which has
been a popular distro in Latin America for several years. They're in
the process of merging with (being acquired by) Mandrake, which can
only improve things -- I've found Mandrake to be extremely stable these
last couple of years. Admittedly, I'm not running production fP
databases on it, just a home server that's been 24/7 for five years
made of cheap hardware (three crashes in the last three months, I think
the hardware is reaching its end of life, or maybe I should blow out
some dust).
