Associated fields and @AF

I Know I will get lots of negative nasty notes on this but a few years ago we dropped all associated fields and created child tables. This requires some extra work in the automatic process but it has always paid off. The selection is easier, you never have to worry about someone needing one more "associated field" or having 900 blanks per record "in case someone needs it".
 
As an added bonus by sub classing the filePro indexes and tables our .NET and java  apps can read and add to filePro and SQL and DB2 and Oracle tables from filePro and the web and the end user does not know the difference and the filePro people can still be on filePro! (filepro and XML a scary proposition when you think about it) but is does work just fine !!
