dclerk aborts on scan/selection - why?

I included both because I wanted the results of the selection set sorted
by the index.  Is there another way of doing that?

Regardless, I tried:

dclerk deliv2 -m ma -jn -xs t -s1 -b -t 350000

Aborted.

Also tried:

dclerk deliv2 -m al -jn -xs t -s1 -b -t 350000

To see if a different qualifier would work.  Aborted.

I guess I would like to know what sort of things would cause filepro to
"abort".  I would have expected some sort of error message.
