Error message about the errmsg file

In my experience, that particular error -- assuming the file really is
there -- comes from corrupt memory in the filePro execution arena.
I've only gotten it a couple of times, and it's been so long that I
don't remember precisely what we'd screwed up in the code, or how it
leaked out...
