Only Kenneth Brody would say something like:

Their specifications are next to nonexistant. You'd have to get the ISO to
find out what kernel they're even running. We'll just assume from their
release schedule plans that they're using a modern glibc and kernel. In
that case, you have to make sure you install (or it installs by default)
libtermcap. If you don't put in a dynamic libtermcap, filePro will not
execute.
As a secondary note--I would -not- advise going with this dist for business
purposes, just based on what I just read on their site. There've been so
many dists in the past that were hyped, popular, and then either petered
out or folded. In addition, there is so much philosophical BS attached
to this one that it's like a quasi-religious propoganda campaign and dist
rolled into one. Just what we need--more ideology in software; as if the
GPL didn't already impose enough of that. At least the GPL's philosophy is
based on common grounds, without some pseudo-religious/cultural couching.
The latter...well, when do we start seeing the Southern Baptist Linux,
the Pentacostal Linux, etc.? Hopefully you take my point. I would not
consider this a "business linux", despite their enterprise support.
There's too much other cruft and ideology tied into it. That $10m figure
the foundation was initially funded with is trivial. Novell could eat
them for an hours d'ourve (sp?), for instance. I'd guess this place will
be -gone- in five years, despite their claims to have a dist life that
long. (Where have I heard -that- before? And then RH dumped RHL after
shortening that to 3 and then 2 years. Sing me another tune.)
I'm not impressed with -anything- I read about this. Too much ideology
expressed, practically no technical data. I wouldn't even bother with it
based on their lack of up-front technical specs. There are enough other
dists out there that we don't need another one--further encumbered by a
community with some grand ideological bent, no less. Bleah.
