Fastmark printer

I have a customer who purchased a FastMark thermal transfer printer by 
AMTDataSouth which is supposed to use Citizen or DataMax emulation.

Does anyone have any idea how to send this thing print commands and data 
from filepro?

The only other TT printer I have used accepts string commands (in 
filePro output format) followed by the filePro field numbers but this 
printer does snot seem to do that.   When I talked to printer tech, he 
denies knowing anything about any data base and tells me the printer 
needs to be PAL freindly and they need to write a PAL program?
