PCL files and HP 3700n

I've got my overlay printing from filePro but now I have a different
problem.

I created my color invoice in Microsoft Publisher and then I used a hex
editor to strip out the codes in the beginning and end I don't need.
I'm pretty sure I only took out the codes I don't need, but the data
from filePro that prints contains garbage instead of the data it is
supposed to print. Also, it prints in the font I used to create the
overlay in Publisher.  I sent the PCL code to switch the font to Letter
Gothic 16 Pitch (Primary) but it doesn't use it.
