HP 1320 laser not printing from filepro

The 1320 should work from almost ALL of the hp-xxx tables. The brain dead
printers and some new color models, all of the current LaserJets have the
same set of fonts introduced in the LJ4 back in 1992 and speak PCL 5. So
the hp-4, hp-5, hp-2100, hp-4000, hp-5000, etc. would all be usable with
the 1320.

There are some new color LaserJets that speak only PCL6 and at least one
bottom end Dell printer that only does PCL6. This is not suitable for use
with filepro.

If you are buying a new laser printer make sure that it has a PCL5 interp-
reter built in. PCL 3 for inkjets. If "host based" is mentioned anywhere
in the specs, don't touch it, particularly if it is an "econobox".
