screen color

Greetings,
SCO 5.0.5 - fp 5.0.14 - ANZIO 12.3 - TERM=ansic

I found a screen in our database that was created in
October of 1991. When I view the screen I see colors
all over the place, white text on purple, blue text on cyan, 
black text on dark yellow, etc.. 

I read on fptech.net;
Unix Filepro does not allow you to design a color screen, 
but it will display a color screen designed under DOS and 
transferred to Unix.

Is this statement still true?
That is, I assume this screen was created in DOS.
