You even wanted one?
I rejected half a dozen invites back when it was new and a few more since. 
Just seemed like bad idea and I didn't like the interface. Admittedly I 
didn't look at it for more than a few seconds and that was long ago and 
didn't bother finding out if there was a pop/imap interface to it so you 
could keep your mails on your local hd and view in your chosen mua. Mostly 
because, even if there was such an option, and you use it, then what would 
be the point of gmail in the first place if you don't use the web interface?

So, is it actually cool, or useful?
