Bob,

I'm not in you situation as I have had a home office for over 30 years.  

When you say "comercial Company" are you talking about one of those companies
that rent office space from an office suite?  I have 2 clients in New York who
are renting space from this type of company.  I'll have to check if the were
required to carry premises insurance.

I do know that my real estate client, who owns 15 commercial buildings, does
require premises insurance.  I will check with them regarding who you might
check with.  Keep in mind they would be aware of companies doing business in NY.
