Help - Removal of Lock Files

The lockfiles indicate an issue with the permissions.

filepro must be a user on the system that has the ability to run the
application. The install likely created this user if it was not there
already.

However, it may not have corrected the owners of the files you restored.

If there is a program called: /appl/fp/scripts/setperms

on that version, execute it. It will fix stuff.

If not, all files and folders below /appl/filepro must be owned by filepro
cd /appl/filepro
chown filepro * */*

The access permissions should be:

chmod 600 * */*

I would guess the install fixed the executibles but generally they are:

-rwsr-xr-x /appl/fp/dclerk
Which translates to

chmod 4755 /appl/fp/dclerk

dxmaint, dreport should be the same. All owned by filepro.

Does that help?
