When I sent copies of emails like that to Campbell I thought I was
the only one.

Any time I send a mail to the list I get TWO of these. One
to the account I post from 'fp' and one to my 'bv' account.

I gave up on trying to figure out who it is.

It's a DSL account at SpeakEasy.net, and I think it might
be a static IP because checking the ones I saved they all
show a local IP address of 192.168.0.200 coming from
an IP of 69.17.4.203, so I suspect that from a device behind
a NATed router.

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting those. Traceroutes
won't go past above.net. The speakeasy 'whois' has no visible
data worth anything - and the 1219 19th street looks made up.
Registrar in in Vancouver WA.

And I only get them when I send email to the list.

I guess you and I are 'privledged' :-)
