Ken,
I would suspect that the reason it bombed with Oracle is because Oracle is
not anywhere as easy to develope with. That can be very frustrating.
Using filePro you can develope simple applications in a matter of a hours.
Using Oracle it would take days. Instant gratification sells. FilePro, with
all
the development tools provided, makes it easy to develope very sophistcated
applications.
How many of the current filePro developers, whose are Doctors, Lawyers
Merchants, etc., most with no computer background could have developed
their application in Oracle. Not many, and if they could they would not have
the desire or the time.
