Except, it turned out they work fine, and what's so onerous about needing a
usb-bluetooth doo-dad for as little as 25 bucks to form the other end of the
connection with the headset which can be as little as 50?
You'r just being contrary for no reason now. :)
But I'll give you a real reason free of charge.
The sound quality kinda blows. My HS-820 isn't bt-1.2 so the hs-850 or other
1.2 compliant might be better. That is one of the advertised specific
purposes of the updated spec.
My Jabra generally sounds better with my phone but I only had it working for
a few minutes with the laptop before the battery died and I already lost
part of the charger 2 weeks ago and the replacement hasn't come in yet so I
can't say if it sucks too or not.
So that's two reasons, extra parts to lose, but only in some cases. The
Motorola uses the same charger as any motorola phone and doesn't use an
intermediary "cradle" like the part I lost for the Jabra and you get so much
talk & standby time you don't often need to move the parts I just described
losing.
