We run XP and 2000 workstations over ethernet with termlite all day
long everyday and have for some years with no fancy setups and no
problems. Termlite is in ansi mode with 25 lines per screen.
As for changing the network card I have some reservations as to
whether the problem is fixable that way but stranger things have happened.
