FacetPhone and filePro

I had a very productive webinar with the folks from FacetPhone last friday.
One of the issues I am wanting to solve is CallerID and Called number
since we have dozens of toll free numbers associated with various
marketing/advertising campaigns.
It seems that a person should able to simply run something like
xx="fp_cid -u"<@id
rt=user xx
and parse the return value
"<name=BOB SMITH><callers_number=2022020202><called_number=8003253535>"
in order to lookup and populate data as needed. (Actually I understand
running a system command and reading in a value from /tmp better than
creating a properly formed user command that returns data directly).
Anyone care to share any insights that they ran across using facetPhone
in a filePro call center environment?
