Problems with running filePro over telnet on SCO 5.0.4 Enterprise

Good morning.

We have a customer running a SCO 5.0.4 Enterprise box and are moving from
serial terminals to an Ethernet connection using Windows XP workstations for
their terminal sessions. We installed the Termlite terminal emulator and
found it works well except for filePro which locks. Sometimes we can get
the menu to draw but typically that will also freeze. Pulling up any part
of filePro such as dclerk, dreport, ddfine, etc also causes the screen to
freeze. We have to close the session by hitting the X thus ending the
program.

During our testing we found that Word Perfect and scoadmin worked fine and
there were no screendraw problems or lockups. We also tried telnet and
Anzio Lite but had the same problems. Different hardware on the
workstations including different Ethernet cards produced the same results.
This is an older HP Netserver with a HP J2973A Bus Master Ethernet card.
The system is not connected to the Internet and has a IP of 192.168.1.10 and
a submask of 255.255.255.0. A call to FP tech support produced no
suggestions.

Our next step was going to be to remove the HP Ethernet card and try a
3Com905 and mabe a new switch. Any suggestions to resolve this would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
