*chuckle*  The P2-400 I have here is okay except for the dodgy RAM.  I keep
it as a spare "just in case".

If it's switched, it shouldn't matter.

You need Media Player 8 or 9 (I think 8) to record.  I think it will only
record to .wma files.  Those are pretty much only viewable under 'doze
software like Media Player.  I should know--I've tried converting a .wma to
something under linux and didn't have much luck at all.

Unless John says it can record to other formats.  He recorded some problems
I had when I was still on dialup to show me what it sounded like, and
that's the format I seem to remember getting.
