Sorry,

I believe Bill Randall answered my problem in a recent prior post in the following manner:

system "/appl/fp/rclerk msx.served -s1 -z \"addfile\""

Sorry to bother the list with something that was just answered on a recent prior post.

Subject: system command, -Z Flag and quotes

I believe this was discussed some time ago.

I want to use the system command in a processing table using the "-Z" flag. The -Z would need quotes before and after. The following is the line needed but I don't know how to do with the quotes:

system "/appl/fp/rclerk msx.served -s1 -z "addfile"

"addfile" is the problem. I believe a variable is what is needed but I don't know how to deal with the quotes that filepro is looking for.

Thanks, in advance.
