|Subject: Xfer Problem
|I've already sent this to fp support, but haven't heard
|anything back yet, so I'll try out here also...
|When I run fPTransfer on a Win2K3 server, I'm getting an error:
|'The instruction at 0040b201 referenced memory at 003f8000.
|The memory could not be read from'
|Supposedly both versions (UNIX and DOS) of xfer are the same
|v5.0.13. I created the transfer file on UNIX using:
|Xfer -t -pn -lf file.dat file1
|I'm extracting the transfer file on Winderz using:
|Xfer -r -lf file.dat
|The program chugs through the screens, process tables,
|selection sets, etc. before bombing out with the above error.
|On disk, the files are all there in the right place, but when
|attempting to do anything in filePro with the file, get a 'No
|or Invalid Map' error. The map file on disk is 0kb.
|Transfering from UNIX v4.5 to fPODBC v5.0.13.
|Any insight? Thanks.

Disregard. Turned out to be my FTP transfer method - not in binary. Thanks
to Ron with fPTech.
