Phil,
I JUST noticed one warning.  Maps are OS significant.  You can not work 
on Windows and send the map to a Unix system or vis versa.

The way to do this is to modify the map on your computer.  Copy it to 
the name map.new.

Ship the file called map.new to the customer.  put it in the correct 
folder.  Make sure it is owned by filepro and get everyone out of the 
system.

Then run /appl/fp/autoshuf filename

It will restructure the file.  It is very important that no one is using 
the file during this process.

I do it all the time.  For large conversion, I set up an upgrade menu 
when I am working on the upgrade.  I add a menu item for SHUFFLING and 
add a line for each file that needs adjustment as I do them.  Then you 
just need to install the map.new files and select the menu items.  It 
works great.  I add any other fix routines that are necessary to repair 
or adjust data for the changes.  There always seem to be something.
