Well, no... too bad. I liked the character based menus of my old Netopias,
but the Sonic Wall routers we have all require browsers. They are flexible
as hell though... and with a Multitech "RasFinder" we are able to have
dialup-modem fail over and fail back to our T1's. This is way cool and saves
us (and has actually saved us) during failures that would have been very bad
for our outlying locations. Our place is now like the I Love Lucy chocolate
candy conveyor belt scenario... stop for anything and you're done for...
those labels and new instructions and orders and etc., have to keep coming
as the boxes come off the line! The SW's have been a BIG help in this
regard.

Because, even if you take the trouble to double up on your broadband with a
company that is willing to put the backup on a completely different
setup/backbone, etc., you are still most likely going to be reliant on the
_same_ local loop franchise... and in our area there is only Verizon...
Having a completely separate method for connecting when any part of it goes
down... on either side... really allows me to sleep better at night.

This was one of the first things Rick and I did together at Scott
Shackelford's suggestion. The little Sonci Walls are just right for the
game, and our big SW is as solid as they come. (knocking on wood all over
his desk as he types) :-)
