There are a zillion ways to do that.
Probably one of the simplest would be to define two printers, identical
except for the destination. Set the default printer to the one with the
"win:\\server\printer" destination, and the "win:lpt1" destination. Then
set PFPRINTER on the Win98 box to point to the other printer.
