Do you have a dvd drive on this box as well as a rev drive, or just the rev
drive?
If the cdrom drive is neither a dvd reader or burner, then it doesn't count.
Maybe it's detecting the wrong device.
It does look like it's detected the right drive, else it wouldn't think it's
a rev drive by name, and yet it does look like it's filled in a standard
volume size for dvd (4.7g minus formatting overhead), but, try writing to
it. How far does it actually go? Forget what the volume size says, maybe
it's not a meaningful field and maybe it writes until it hits end of media.
I have one rev drive in use with BE but it's on a sco box not linux, and I
have BE on one linux box but it's using a dvd drive not a rev drive.
Checking... On the SCO box with BE and a REV drive, the volume size is 0.
The other settings are all exactly the same.
