import processing must us .wp extension

Ken could be right only to the extent that there may have been another file 
which had a name with the extension. I chose to import a file by the same 
name without the extension. When it didn't work I renamed the file with the 
extension.

Even if that's true (which I'm not sure of) the import command did not read 
the file I requested. So this must be a bug.
