Good info, but I don't think that this is what Gary
had in mind.  It sounds like he is looking for
something like the -ra flag for demand indexes, so
that he can re-build the demand indexes on the same
keys and the same selection as they were the last
time.  

I believe that you can use the -r flag to rebuild on
the same keys, but the selection information is not
stored in the index, so I don't think there is a way
to have it automatically select the correct records
without doing some work beforehand.... Unless you
always want to select all records.  In that case the
following should work where N is the demand index:

dxmaint filename -oN -r -a -e
