Dear filePro Elves,
Hello all and Merry Christmas. For this Holiday season, all the many of
which there are, I'm wishing everyone the best. It has been a tough year for
some and good one for others. Overall, the devastating natural events have
overshadowed the little concerns of business and daily lives for all of us.
Hopefully, none of you were hurt too badly by the hurricanes, earthquakes,
fires, floods, tsunamis, etc., that plagued our planet last year. Hopefully,
things will be better next year, and all we'll have to deal with are
terrorists, cyber wars, drugs and dwindling earth resources. Yes, a :-) and
a :-( are required here.
In any case, how can I help? Simple, I can make my product a little easier
for people to buy by dropping the price for the season. Yes, it will put
some bucks into my pocket... but as I've said before, these CD's are just
too good and took too much time to make for me to just *give* them away. How
about the next best thing. Through December 31st, 2005, the entire set of
filePro Survivor Series disks will cost only $300. To further help those who
want them, but can't foot that much of a hit all at once, the set will be
available during this season for 4 monthly payments of $75 each. In just the
past couple months, several people have purchased the set on these terms.
These folks have thanked me for the easier payment schedule and are enjoying
the CD's right away while not crimping their style too much... especially
when bucks are needed for holiday gift giving.
So, there you have it, no hype other than to say, so many seasoned filePro
programmers have gone out of their way to tell me that this set has been
invaluable to them. Dr. Pulliam, for example, tells me just about every time
he logs into the FP Room how much he has learned from this set, and he has
been using filePro for 20 years. He is not alone, everyone else tells me
just about the same thing. In case you don't know what these disks are, I
will tell you in one sentence. A set of 3 CD's, filled with movies that
teach you graphically and step-by-step how to program with filePro... no
previous programming or filePro knowledge is required... they start from
absolute scratch and take you from beginner to highly advanced by building
an elaborate accounting application from the ground up. (Aren't ellipses
great? See how much you can pack into one sentence? :-) There is so much
more in these movies... really, give them a shot. You can learn all about
them, and see samples of the movies by going to www.tinyrul.com/training.
You can order them there as well, and they will go out within 24 hours by
Priority or Express Mail. If you do buy a set, I know you will enjoy them.
(Incidentally, if any Pig in a Poke purchasers out there who haven't bought
the set yet want to buy it now... you will receive the $48 rebate check I
promised you along with the set. Applicable with either mode of purchase, 4
payments of $75, or 1 payment of $300).)
Happy Chris-onakamus-adan.
