You mean other than operator error?
Well, 1-Jan-1983 is filePro's "epoch". Dates are manipulated internally
as the number of days from the epoch[1]. Perhaps you have run into some
combination that causes filePro to treat the date as the epoch itself?
Perhaps doing date math with a blank date field?
