[snip]

You could protect your original program so that the controlling
program in it has only a certain (mutually agreed on) lifetime.

I distribute demos of my MENU EDIT II program with password
protected, encrypted processing tables and tokenized tables.

NO ONE can successfully execute a demo of it on a date later
than the time period I've coded into the table.

After first successfully executing it, NO ONE can continue
to execute it longer than the time period I've coded into
the table. (I don't. but others might want to give one or
WARNINGs before temination. That's possible too).

I offered my technique to the filePro community, but no one
was interested in it (I wanted to be paid to share it).

I thought it was a great way for filePro programmers to
bundle programs and maintainence contracts, etc.

But I was wrong.

No replies to the list, please (don't rub it in).

Bob (who just wanted to get this off his chest)
