Only Walter Vaughan would say something like:

The last person in charge of Marketing that I knew held the official
position is gone. Lee Machan is no longer with fP-Tech, last I heard.

I find it far more odd that the company, with at least two representative
employees (I think four, actually, assuming Bill and Ron are still subbed),
cannot see fit to answer the question in their own "backyard" on the
mailing list even in an unofficial capacity, than I do that they didn't
make the forum. The lack of communication from the company is ridiculously
astounding. Is anyone -at- the helm?

However, I heard reports that they're pre-invoicing people for 5.6--people
that haven't even ordered it. So apparently -some- communications channels
selectively work yet. Anyone actually have this happen to them--getting an
unsolicited invoice or notice of inbound invoice for an upgrade they never
ordered? Anyone else hear of this happening?
