For those of you who use a browser other than IE, for example, Opera....
the audio-video on the main fPSS page is now working. Ken brought to my
attention that we were using a Microsoft-only method for tying in the audio
and video to the html page. I grumped and complained a lot, but got someone
with enough expertise to do it right. My apologies for not accommodating
these non-standard browsers in the first place. If you fault me for implying
by this, that the MS browser is the "standard"... Well, that's a big
political argument which none of us wants to engage in now. Several hundred
million people using one thing over *whatever* the much tinier number of
users employing something else... kind of makes the discussion moot for me
from the start. So, hopefully we can leave it at the door. I'm happy to be
able to use a technique which will allow everyone to use their own personal
favorite browser whatever it is.
Whichever browser you want to use, it should work now. The movies on the
sample page will still probably play in Windows Media Player, unless you
have the .wmv extension associated with something else... I can't help this
in any way. Even so, I'm not seeing this as too much of a limitation....
after all, Quicktime movies play in Quicktime, RealPlayer files play in
RealPlayer and etc. just the way it is.

Please let me know if you have any problems with either the website or the
sample movies. We only tested Opera, not FireFox or some of the others, but
there is no reason to think they wouldn't work.
