Qualifier Files - UNIX vs Windows

I mentioned the other day that I had written a processing table
to manage creating/deleting Qualifier Files. I revisited that
table to learn a little bit more about Qualifiers (I don't use
them very much).
Using filePro's ddefine . . .
I found on UNIX I could create Qualifiers BOB and bob, and
filePro would recognize them as distinct Qualifiers.
On Windows, not unexpectedly, it did not create the second
of these - BUT, it did add it to the "qualify" file, taking
up a slot in the file the filePro editor uses to manage them.
Using my processing table on Windows, on trying to create the
second of these, the program tells me that Qualifier already
exists, so doesn't add it in the "qualify" file.
Another difference I noted was that ddefine didn't create any
demand indexes for the newly created Qualifer, where my program
did. I don't know whether that's a benefit or not.
