Define Files on FreeBSD...

What if you manually use filePro's makedir to try to make the directory?
Do you see any error message?

    /usr/appl/fp/lib/makedir /usr/appl/filepro/xxxxx

And can you verify the ownership/permissions on "/usr/appl/filepro"
and "/usr/appl/fp/lib/makedir"?
