This seems weird. Are you using a "jailed" virtual server or a real
server? Holding down a key constantly on our 4.11 server causes cpu to
spike to 0.05%-0.07% every five or six seconds, so its really not
runmenu in my opinion. You don't have a hundred clients hitting the
space bar concurrently, so this makes no sense.

What's it really running... uname -a ?

What's "top" report in a second window when you have runmenu executing a
held space-bar in a second window?

They did change the binary for runmenu between .13 and .14

<.. filePro 5.0.14 ..>
# sum runmenu
60245 574 runmenu
# ll runmenu
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 587604 Oct 19 2004 runmenu

<.. filepro 5.0.13 ..>
# sum /appl/fp/runmenu
33217 500 /appl/fp/runmenu
# ll /appl/fp/runmenu
-rwxr-xr-x 1 filepro wheel 511508 Nov 10 2003 /appl/fp/runmenu

Your checksums equal mine?

Methinks you just got struck by lightning. Somebody has configured the
"blame report" to pick you this time.
