A few things to note...
Celestial's mail servers serve far more than just the filePro list, and can
get quite busy. I know Bill has multiple lists, and I -believe- it also
handles user mail. It could be as simple as load.
Additionally, if anything (like 1/4 of the 6.0 threads) get flagged for
something like a spam-similar subject line and need approval (and there are
so many filters that keep this place clean that more gets tagged for
approval than I think anyone appreciates), then you end up waiting for
manual intervention by someone that can approve the message. THEN it has
to go through the outbound queue, which is again subject to load.
