I used either HoTMetaL or HotDog Pro when I was first learning HTML, but
just as a way to get a "real life" example.  For example, "how does one
make a 3-by-3 table?"  Once I saw the table/tr/td code that they generated,
I then wrote my own using vi and didn't need them again.

It doesn't surprise me.  You probably had half of it written while the
FrontPage splash screen was still up.  ;-)
