thanks ken,
sco unix, rclerk, 5.0.13R4
1. make 10 fields label them S1) State (2,state)
2. make 10 fields, label them S2) State (2,state)
OR
make 10 fields, label them T1) State (2,state)
3. input data in all or some of the top 10
input data in all or some of the bottom 10
NJ NY PA CT ME NH VT DE RI
CA OR WA NV NM WY TX
4. Build an index S1 & S2
OR S1 & T1
either way, with S2, or T1 as the second criteria , I can't get it to find CT to TX.
when i lookup via the index. i get a blank record, or in some testing,
a completely wrong match, where the only two states were TX to CA for
instance.
