I have over 600 messages on this topic in my archives. There is as many
ways to do it (a few even correct) as "Carter has Liver Pills".

Below is a message that had two methods. I snipped the first and
I'd suggest you take the second approach since Brian makes it somewhat
foolproof, and probably is willing to help

Subject: Filepro to Email

<snip complicated method>

http://www.aljex.com/bkw/filepro/index.html#reptmail

requires:
http://www.aljex.com/bkw/filepro/index.html#unpcl
http://www.aljex.com/bkw/filepro/index.html#ibm2ascii

I think I included enough documentation in the web page and in the script
itself so I won't go into it here.

end result:
you take _already existing_ plain text or hplaser output formats, print
them to a unique-named file, and then system "reptmail H file user at host"

more options are there but not necessary. subject, from, reply-to,
cc-list, priority, return-receipt, (client made me add that but I
personally think they are offensive)

the mail is sent as html with little more than the <pre> tag, which makes
the lines, boxes, and columns look right.

lines & boxes are converted to lower-ascii equivalents (+-|) though.

sample output is shown on the web page.

it's easy (now that it's written) :)

been using it for almost two years now, including on a pretty high-volume
site and works on sco, linux, freebsd (so far)
