Gary Olman propounded (on Sun, Oct 17, 2004 at 04:32:09PM -0400):
| The parmeters were set in the output format. BTW am I top-posting? and
what
| does that mean, I assume it is not to be desired.

Top-posting means your reply appears in your message *before* that to
which it is replying. I find it hard to follow a conversation that way,
and it reminds me of nothing so much as the game where one propounds an
answer and expects to hear the question:

IAC, I have no problem printing a memo with 5.0.14.

Jp; Would you just see if there is difference between what I am doing and
not printing, and what you are doing and printing?
I have memo set in define files at field 8 (16, MEMO). In IUA I open up the
first record in the file and open the memo screen (I have @keym set) The
blue screen opens and I add some text. I escape and go to define output. I
update, put the cursor where I want it and F8-J. The field is 8 I go with
the default parameters. I get a small cross hatched area on the screen which
I assume is the location and size of the memo. I then print, selecting only
record 1 ( I dont want to overwrite) The output is fine, except no memo.
Thanks Gary
