Fw: Export file and the use of Append -a

Bob,

I will keep all of them left justified even if the value is numeric or does
that matter?

aa(10,*);bb(5,*);cc(8,*) etc

Any one of those fields could be numeric in filepro but I will left justify
or are you suggesting that if I know the field is numeric to use xx(8,.2).
The lengths of all the fields are identified by the length of the dummy
fields. So does it matter if it is justified left or right as long as that
is what the client expects?

Dennis
