Ultimately I want to put *something* within arms reach of my co-workers desk
so that he doesn't have to visit the server to change the tapes, which is up
a flight of stairs, through 2 doors, and almost on the ground as the server
is near the bottom of a rack. A laptop running rmt on linux and an external
drive is not out of the question but that only gives me 100Mb net
connection. A scsi drive in a external bay with a scsi card added to his pc
would be better I think, and I can use a gigabit net connections just for
the purpose too, even with dedicated nics on both ends although that
shouldn't be necessary.
This would be something for _my_ copious free time :)
